Waiting is its own kind of hard. Not a crisis, not a resolution — just the long middle where you are still praying and nothing has moved yet. If that is where you are, this page is for you. The wait is not wasted.
Waiting is not the same as doing nothing. Waiting with faith is one of the most active things a person can do. It takes strength to stay steady when nothing around you has changed yet.
Lord, I am still waiting.
I have been praying and I have not yet seen the answer.
Help me not to grow bitter in this.
Keep my faith steady even when nothing moves.
Remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it.
Help me trust Your timing.
Give me strength for the in-between.
And let this season not be wasted.
Amen.
Do not put your life on hold. Live fully in this season even while you wait for what is next.
Look for what God is doing now. Waiting seasons are often growing seasons. Ask Him what He is building in you.
Stay connected. Isolation makes waiting harder. Let people into this season with you.
Day 1: Read Psalm 27. Pray verse 14 as your own prayer.
Day 2: Write down what you are waiting for. Then write one thing God has already done.
Day 3: Read Isaiah 40:28–31. Ask God to renew your strength.
Day 4: Do something you love today. Do not let the wait take today from you.
Day 5: Read James 1:2–4. Ask God what He is building in this season.
Day 6: Tell someone what you are waiting for. Ask them to pray with you.
Day 7: Read Lamentations 3:25–26. Ask God for the grace to wait well.
