Pause and pray. God hears you, even in a whisper. You don’t need perfect words. Just bring Him what’s on your heart, honestly and simply. Prayer can be as small as one sentence, and God can meet you right here.
“Pray continually.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:17)
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find.”
(Matthew 7:7)
Prayer does not have to be complicated. Prayer is talking to God. You can speak honestly. You can ask questions. You can sit quietly. You can pray in one sentence. God hears you.
If you do not know what to say, start with Scripture. Then talk to God about what is true in your life today.
Lord, teach me to pray.
Help me be honest.
Help me listen.
Draw me close to You.
Give me peace today.
Amen.
Start with truth. Read one verse.
Speak honestly. Tell God what you feel and need.
End with trust. Say, “Lord, I trust You with this.”
Day 1: Pray for 2 minutes.
Day 2: Read one Psalm and pray one line.
Day 3: Write one request.
Day 4: Thank God for one thing.
Day 5: Pray for one person.
Day 6: Sit quietly for 60 seconds.
Day 7: Review how God helped you this week.
