If you are waiting and hoping for a child, this season can be one of the most painful a person carries. The longing is real. The grief is real. So is God's attention to what you are going through. You are not forgotten.
God sees your longing. He does not dismiss it. Whatever path this season takes — waiting, treatment, adoption, or an outcome you did not expect — He can be trusted with every part of it. You do not have to hold this alone.
Lord, You know this longing in my heart.
You see how much I want this.
Please be near me in the waiting.
Comfort me on the hard days.
Give wisdom to the doctors and decisions around me.
Help me trust You even when I do not understand.
Guard my heart from bitterness and despair.
And in Your mercy, Lord, please hear this prayer.
Amen.
Be honest with God. Tell Him exactly what you feel, the longing, the grief, the hope.
Protect your heart. Step back from things that make the pain sharper when you need a break. That is wisdom, not avoidance.
Lean on one person. You were not meant to carry this alone. Let someone close to you in.
Day 1: Read Psalm 139:13–16. You are known and seen by God.
Day 2: Write what you are hoping for. Pray it honestly.
Day 3: Read Hannah's prayer in 1 Samuel 1:10–11. Bring your longing to God.
Day 4: Do one gentle thing for yourself today.
Day 5: Read Romans 8:26–28. Let the Spirit carry what you cannot pray.
Day 6: Talk to one trusted person about how you are doing.
Day 7: Read Psalm 27:13–14. Ask God for strength to wait.
