Chronic illness is exhausting in ways that are hard to explain. Not just physically — but emotionally, spiritually, relationally. If you have been sick for a long time and the end is not in sight, God sees the full weight of what you are carrying. You do not have to minimize it.
Living with ongoing illness requires a different kind of faith — not the faith that believes for one miracle, but the faith that trusts God through a long and uncertain road. That kind of faith is hard. It is also real, and God honors it.
Lord, this has been a long road.
Some days I am tired of being tired.
Please meet me in this.
Give me strength for today — not next month, just today.
Help me find moments of grace inside this difficulty.
Give wisdom to those caring for me.
Remind me that my worth is not my health.
And sustain me with Your presence when I cannot feel it.
Amen.
Give yourself grace for what you cannot do. Your limitations are not failures.
Ask for help with one thing today. Let someone carry part of this with you.
Find one small moment of beauty or rest. God can meet you there.
